YG just released his Red Friday project during the Black Friday his past weekend. There was something special about this album, we don’t believe it lived up to the hype like Still Brazy, but this album served up some juice for his people, since “Fuck Donald Trump”.
The Compton native did something a little unconventional and mimicked a move Nipsey Hussle did a while back, serving up a $100 mixtape.
Red Friday features some familiar and unfamiliar artist, 21 Savage, RJmrLA, and Mitch. The album is 8 tracks long and runs for 23 minutes, which is far from your average run time for an album.
Regardless, the Compton rapper dropped some bars over DJ Mustards production and stuck to topics about being a blood, money, and hoes. The album is far from being the hottest release his year, but some tracks, such as ‘I Be On It’ featuring 21 Savage, almost makes you want to reconsider.
Anyways, check out the stream below and stay brazy!
